Lorraine's Challenge 13

Just when it looked like the race was finished, there was a surprise challenge 13. This surprised me, since the race was supposed to be 6 weeks only and all along there were only 12 galleries for posting your layouts. But, what do you do.

Well, apparently they decided that having a 13th surprise challenge was not fair (for the same reasons that I posted above) so they have made it optional as far aw being entered to win the grand prize.

For this challenge, the team each had to make one page of a two-page layout about the "diversity of love" and there was a list of requirements for each side of the layout.

Here is the layout I did for the left side:

Lorraine's Challenge #11

For challenge #11, we had to ask a question to one person. The layout had to include one photo and the only journaling we could include was the question.

I thought quite awhile about questions. There were lots I could ask, but I could just ask or already know the answer in my heart. So, I wanted to think of a question that I can't know the answer to, but might really wonder about. So, I decided to ask Fermat what proof he had in mind when he made some notes that became known as Fermat's Last Theorem (because it was the last one that mathematicians proved, this one hundreds of years later). Anyway, here is my page.

I personally didn't like the requirement that this was all the text that could be on the page. The layout is missing something. So, I added to the layout for myself. I like this one lots better.

Lorraine's Challenge #8

For this challenge we had to choose a scrapping idol and scraplift one of their layouts. I don't know that I would say I have a scrapping idol, but I do love Amy Sumrall's layouts and she scraps in a style I would love to master, so I chose to scraplift one of their layouts. The layout also had to include the word "dream" somewhere on the layout and have a star somewhere on the layout.

This is the layout I chose to scraplift:

Challenge #7

Aren't Shelby's layouts great! Wish I could scrap like she can!

Anyway, for challenge #7 we got a free mini kit and had to use everything in the kit in our layout. We could add other things as well if we wanted.

Here is what I came up with:
